A supplemental proceeding can be a really useful tool in the hands of a right attorney.  Someone at home could potentially set one up and do it properly, but it is not for the novice.  You require the affidavit and motion for it, the order for the person to sign it, and you need to organize a place, time, and a series of questions that the debtor will respond to.  So far this week I have helped clients to successfully resolve two cases using this procedure.  Debtors can’t ignore you if you try this technique.
