In the case Nell v. Froedtert & Community Health, 2013 WI App 40 (filed 30 Jan. 2013) (ordered published 27 March 2013), the Court of Appeals heard a case where a clinic gave a woman prenatal vitamins instead of birth control pills.  I don’t see how this could ever happen.  But the most surprising thing is that the lady then turned around and sued Froedtert & Community Health for not only the pain of childbirth but also for the cost of raising a child.  This is a sick state of mind.  That child hopefully will never know that the mother was so upset that she was pregnant with the child that she sued the clinic.  That would have to be pretty damaging.  Luckily, the court stated that there was no cause of action for this in Wisconsin.
